ERW & GI PIPES

MS & GI Pipes, short for Mild Steel Pipes and Galvanised Pipes, are durable carbon steel tubes made from low-carbon steel (typically under 0.25% carbon), offering a balance of strength, ductility, and weldability.

Manufacturing Process

MS pipes start from steel billets or sheets, which are rolled into tubular form and welded (often ERW—electric resistance welding) along the seam. They undergo testing for pressure resistance, wall thickness, and durability before coating and distribution.

MS Pipes when galvanised in Zinc, become GI Pipes.
